Constantine is served by Mohamed Boudiaf International Airport (CZL), located just 10 km from the city center. Direct flights are available from several major cities in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. You may also fly into Algiers (Houari Boumediene Airport – ALG) and take a connecting domestic flight or train.
By Train:
The Algerian National Rail Company (SNTF) operates daily trains between Algiers and Constantine (duration: ~6–8 hours). First-class and overnight options are available.
By Road:
Constantine is connected to the national highway network. Travel by car or intercity bus is feasible from Algiers (~6 hours), Annaba (~2 hours), or other major cities. Taxis and private transport companies also operate frequent trips.
Do you need a visa?
Participants from many countries may require a visa to enter Algeria. We strongly recommend checking the visa policy of your country via the Algerian embassy or consulate.

Weather:
In late November, Constantine experiences cool autumn weather. Expect daytime temperatures around 15°C (59°F) and cooler evenings (~6°C/43°F). A jacket or coat is recommended.
Currency:
The official currency is the Algerian Dinar (DZD). Credit cards are accepted in hotels and major establishments, but cash is preferred in many places. Currency exchange is available at the airport and hotels.
Languages Spoken:
Arabic and French are widely spoken. English is used in academic and medical contexts. Interpreters will be available during the congress.
